Ученик: Very big?
Учитель: Yes, very big. And what have we got in the garden, …?
Ученик: Many fruits and vegetables. (показывает на фрукты и овощи)
Учитель: And the Bean King and Princess and on The Pea. (показывает на короля и королеву)
Ученик: Бобовый король и принцесса на горошине.
Учитель: Yes, that’s right. Mr King and Miss Princess, are you ready to meet fruits and vegetables from our garden?
Король и принцесса: Yes, we are.

Фрукты и овощи группами подходят к королю и принцессе
Яблоки (apples): We are apples, red and round.
On a tree we are found.
Король: Apples are so hard!
Принцесса: But apples are good for pie.
Король: I like pie. (гладит себя по животу)
Помидоры (tomatoes): We are tomatoes, round and sweet.
Red, red tomatoes, so good to eat.
Король: I don’t like tomatoes!
Принцесса: But tomatoes are good for juice.
Король: I like juice.
Апельсины (oranges): Orange sweet, orange round,
On the tree or on the ground.
Король: I like oranges!
Принцесса: Yes, oranges are good for jam.
Король: I like jam. (достает большую ложку)
Морковь (carrot): Carrot orange, carrot red,
Carrot pie and juice and bread.
Король: Oh, carrot is not tasty!
Принцесса: But carrots are good for soup.
Король: I like soup.
Лимоны (lemons): We are lemons, sour and yellow.
Not so big, but very mellow.
Король: Lemons are so sour! (кривится)
Принцесса: But lemons are good for tea.
Король: I like tea. (пьет из бокала)
Кукуруза (corn): We are sweet corn
In the America were born.
Король: Corn is not tasty! (кривится)
Принцесса: But popcorn is very tasty. (достает большую упаковку попкорна)
Король: I like popcorn. (вместе едят попкорн)
Орехи (nuts): Nuts can be white, green and red.
We are good like milk and bread.
Король: Oh, nuts are so hard!
Принцесса: But nuts are good for sweets. (достает огромную шоколадку)
Король: I like sweets with nuts. (радостно хлопает в ладоши и распаковывает вместе с принцессой шоколадку)

Король и принцесса доедают шоколадку. Фрукты и овощи стоят напротив. Выходят учитель и его помощник.
Учитель: Mr King and Miss Princess, I see you are very hungry.
Король и принцесса: Yes, yes, we are very hungry.
Учитель: (берет корзину с продуктами) We have got so many fruits and vegetables. Let’s sort vegetables for soup (показывает маленькую корзину с надписью «vegetables for soup»), fruits for salad (показывает маленькую корзину с надписью «fruits for salad») and other food for dessert (показывает маленькую корзину с надписью «food for dessert»).
Учитель: …, do you want to help our fruits and vegetables?
Ученик: Yes, I do.
Учитель: Do it! (обращается к фруктам и овощам) Divided into three teams. Ok? Let’s go!
Учащиеся распределяют продукты по трем категориям: овощи, фрукты, другие продукты.
Учитель: Are you ready? Name vegetables, please.
Представитель 1 команды: carrot, tomato, potato, cabbage, pepper.

Представитель 3 команды: nuts, ice cream, sweets, cherry, mushroom.
Учитель: (обращается к королю и принцессе) Is it correct? (после ответа) Very well. Now we have enough food for cooking. We have very good cook book. Stas, give me please the book.
Помощник берет книгу и открывает ее.
Ученик: Oh, teacher, all the recipes in the book are wrong.
Учитель: Все рецепты в книге перемешались. (показывает на доске и с продуктами на столе). Apple soup, tomato ice cream.
Ученик: (морщится) It’s not tasty.
Учитель: Yes. Or carrot jam, banana tea, lemon juice.
Король: So sour.
Учитель: Yes, it’s not tasty. Fruits and vegetables help to restore the recipes.

Учитель: Ok, are you ready? Who can answer? Who will start?

Ученик: Yes, I do.

Учитель показывает карточки цветов радуги, а учащиеся называют их по-английски.
Учитель: Kids, come here.
Все дети выходят на сцену, учитель раздает им разноцветные шары.
Учитель: I give you colorful balloons. Let’s make the rainbow. We start with red.
Дети становятся по порядку цветов радуги.
Учитель: This is the real rainbow. Let’s sing the song of the rainbow.
Дети поют песню «I can sing a rainbow»:

Сказка «Репка»
Играют звуки раннего деревенского утра. На сцену выходит дед.
Дед: (потягиваясь и зевая) What a wonderful morning! I need to see my garden.
Подходит к репке
Дед: (удивляется) What a big turnip! Wonderful! Beautiful! I need to pull it out.
Тянет репку, но не может вытянуть
Дед: (выдыхает и вытирает рукой пот со лба) Oh, turnip is too big. I can’t pull it out. (кричит) Grandma! Help me! Grandma!
Звуки брошенных ведер, треск, шум… Вбегает запыхавшаяся бабка.
Бабка: (возмущенно) What happened?
Дед: (разводит руками) The turnip is too big. I can’t pull it out.
Бабка: Oh, really, the turnip is too big. I can help you.
Дед: Ok, hold me. One-two-three.
Тянут репку, но не могут вытянуть
Бабка: No, the turnip is too big! I have idea! (кричит) Granddaughter!
Прыгая через скакалку, появляется внучка.
Внучка: I’m here. Why did you call me?
Дед: The turnip is too big. We can’t pull it out.
Внучка: Ok, I can help you.
Бабка: Hold me.
Дед: One-two-three.
Тянут репку, но не могут вытянуть
Дед: No, no. The turnip is too big.
Внучка: I can call my dog. (кричит) My little dog! Come here!
Звук далекого собачьего лая.
Собака: I’m here. What happened?
Дед: The turnip is too big. We can’t pull it out.
Внучка: Hold me.
Дед: One-two-three.
Тянут репку, но не могут вытянуть
Дед: (разводя руками) Nothing!
Собака: I can call a cat. Little cat! Come here! (достает бантик и манит кошку)
Звук кошачьего визга.
Кошка: (подбегая к бантику) I’m here. What’s the matter?
Дед: The turnip is too big. We can’t pull it out.
Кошка: Ok, I can help you.
Cобака: Hold me.
Дед: One-two-three.
Тянут репку, но не могут вытянуть
Мимо проходит мышка.
Кошка: Oh, it is a mouse. Mouse, mouse, help us.
Мышка: Yes, please.
Дед: One-two-three.
Тянут и вытягивают репку
Все: (радостно удивляются) What a big turnip we have!
